Ordinary Moments from Tokyo - photo zine

Tavallisia hetkiä Tokiosta is a photography zine documenting everyday life in wintertime Tokyo. Back alleys, parks, people on their way to work, taking a break, or waiting for the lights to change: ordinary moments that often go unnoticed.

I wanted to avoid the neon lights and the cliché umbrella shots. This zine focuses solely on the mundane; the routines that repeat day after day, beautiful in their own way. The images move through the city like notes in a journal: without a fixed narrative, but filled with small pieces of evidence that I was there, watching.

Perhaps this zine is more of a notebook than a work of art. A reminder that even the ordinary can be meaningful when viewed from the right angle.
