I picked up a DSLR camera for the very first time at the beginning of 2010, and it’s been quite a ride ever since. Working as a professional photographer in Helsinki and Vantaa, I’ve had the privilege to capture incredible narratives, interesting brands, and above all, amazing people at their most authentic.
Alongside photography, I’ve spent just as long working in graphic design. For the past 10 years, I have operated commercially both as a freelancer and as an in-house designer. This background gives me an exceptionally sharp eye as an Art Director for how commercial imagery functions as part of larger brand identities.
Stiffness and forced poses are not my thing. My photographic approach leans towards a distinct, rawly elegant style. I capture a lot of my work utilizing original 1960s and 1970s vintage lenses, purposely avoiding digital over-sharpness or visual clichés. The end result is always an editorial, cinematic atmosphere with a soul.

Originally from Kuopio and now based in Vantaa, I am a professional commercial photographer and Art Director with over 15 years of experience in visual storytelling. I navigate fluidly between ambitious commercial advertising photography and independent artistic work.

I worked for a long time as a freelancer until I transitioned to a full-time entrepreneur at the end of 2025. My passion for visuals and street photography is strongly reflected in the Finnish photography community: in 2026, I serve as the Chairperson of Katuvalokuvauskollektiivi ry (@spcfinland), where I lead non-profit activities for the community and host street portrait workshops.
